Common Cause Of Body Acne

Body Acne can occur anywhere in the body except for the palms and feet. While the face is the most affected part in acne, there is equally a large number of people who are unfortunate enough to suffer from the pain of body acne as well. Although face acne is a pain in itself, body acne causes more distress in individuals. This acne is bigger in size and has bigger pores, and when the pores erupt, it spreads infection, makes a mess and causes more pain for the individual.

Here are some basic causes of body acne:

- Genetics: Most people are unaware that acne is a genetic factor. If either of the parents had face or body acne, the next generation is most likely to suffer from it.

- Tight Clothing: People who wear really tight clothing have increased chances of developing acne. Why? Tight clothing rubs against the skin, thereby creating fissures and pressure on the skin, which can lead to body acne breakout.

- Perspiration: When we sweat or perspire a lot, the skin develops acne due to the formation of “poral occlusions”, which is caused due to the combination of sweat and oil secreted. This clogs the pores and can lead to body acne.

- Poor Nutrition: One of the basic reasons for acne. Teenage is the period in one’s life of acne development and this stage is mostly accompanied by poor nutrition. Simply, the lack of nutrition that will benefit the skin is the reason for body acne breakout.

There are several remedies for body acne. While genetics cannot be changed, there are other ways to prevent it or treat it. If the person wears loose clothing, exfoliate their skin, and take care of nutrition levels, they can control and manage their body acne.
